Waterford Live
Formerly a football ground, Kilcohan Park is now a greyhound racing track in Waterford, Ireland. The football ground opened in 1930 and in 1947, became a licensed dog racing track.
The racetrack was taken over by Greyhound Racing Ireland in 2002 with several improvements bringing Waterford to a great new standard for Irish racing.
The Select Stakes is Waterford's most famous race, over 525 yards on a sand surface. The purse is around 9500 euros and was won in 2021 by Skywalker Barry in 28.14s.
